‘Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys’ gets UK airdate
From the team behind last year’s “so-bad-it’s-good” cult hit Sharknado, comes another fishy B-Movie and classic in-the-making Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys, airing exclusively on Animal Planet on Wednesday 4th June at 9pm, starring Shannen Doherty (Beverley Hills 90210, Charmed) and the legendary Christopher Lloyd (‘Doc’ in the Back to the Future trilogy) as part of the channel’s Monster Week.
Directed by friend of Nerdly, James Cullen Bressack (Hate Crime, 13/13/13) Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys sees the cast battle lampreys – eel-like fish with huge teeth and funnel-shaped mouths – after they slide their way into the city’s sewer system and start terrorizing the residents of a small Michigan town. With their giant-toothed, funnel-like mouths attacking all those in their path, the town’s residents quickly learn that a casual dip in the pool, fishing trip or routine trip to the toilet can turn deadly as the killer lampreys hunt for their next blood-filled victim…
Full of blood, guts and horror Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys appears on the UK’s very own Animal Planet as part of the channel’s highly anticipated Monster Week. Returning from Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th June, Animal Planet will be home to a host of eerie, fun and over-the-top tales of the monsters that lurk below water and stalk on land. Programme highlights include Nature’s Most Wanted, Mountain Monsters and Man-Eating Zombie Cats.
