Official show logo for ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’

A few days ago ABC broke the news that they had officially picked up Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season along with the Hayley Atwell starring Agent Carter series for its debut season. The show is based on the Marvel One-Shot included on the recent Iron Man 3 Blu-ray and DVD and the official synopsis reads thus:

It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers.

Marvel’s Agent Carter (to give the show its full official title) comes from executive producers Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Jeph Loeb. Check out the just released show logo below…
