‘Toy Hunter’ comes to MCM Birmingham!

As a collector I’m always looking for those hidden treasures and must-have items at each and every Comic Con I go to… But at this weekend’s MCM Comic Con / Memorabilia Birmingham it seems I might have some competition as Travel Channel series Toy Hunter is headed to Birmingham Comic Con and Memorabilia this weekend, as show host and toy dealer extraordinaire Jordan Hembrough brings his expert eye to this weekend’s con.

Currently in its third season and airing in 42 countries, U.S. TV show Toy Hunter follows Hembrough as he searches for the most sought-after pieces, and this weekend Jordan’s toy hunt takes him across the Pond to the NEC. After being in the industry for more than 20 years, Hembrough still gets a thrill from meeting new collectors and seeing the next unusual item they covet… but what will he uncover at Birmingham Comic Con & Memorabilia?

I’m a huge fan of the series, even though I don’t think it’s aired in the UK yet (thank god for Hulu and proxy servers is all I can say) so I’m super-excited to see if I can spot Hembrough at the event. I’ll be sure to grab a photo if I do.
