‘WWE Raw’ Review (Oct 27th 2025)
Welcome to our review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s show…

Match #1: Penta vs. Rusev (No Contest)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Penta and Rusev have been fueled by their desire to take the Intercontinental Title from “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, and that passion was evident from the opening bell as they came out throwing haymakers. A mid-air Machka kick and Penta Driver nearly finished the match, but El Grande Americano and Los Americanos interfered and stopped the No. 1 Contender’s Match in its tracks. However, Mysterio’s plan backfired when Adam Pearce announced an Intercontinental Title Triple Threat Match between “Dirty” Dom, Penta and Rusev at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #2: Roxanne Perez def. Nikki Bella
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella battled one of Raw’s fasting-rising Superstars, Roxanne Perez. After an intense back-and-forth, Perez secured the win with a Pop Rox off the turnbuckle. As Raquel Rodriguez helped encircle Bella, Stephanie Vaquer came down to prevent the ambush and potentially create an alliance with the former Divas Champion.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: Bron Breakker def. LA Knight
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Bron Breakker was out to send a message through a vicious effort against LA Knight. With Knight catching fire late in the match, Breakker sprung into action with a devastating Spear for the win.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #4: JD McDonagh def. Sheamus
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After last week’s chaotic Battle Royal, Sheamus wanted payback against The Judgment Day. With JD McDonagh stepping up for the match, The Celtic Warrior unloaded his frustrations, but a surprise shillelagh strike from Finn Bálor allowed his teammate to swoop in for the pin.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #5: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship – Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss def. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match thrilled the WWE Universe with four of Raw’s Superstars leaving it all in the ring during a heated title fight. Alexa Bliss stunned with a double DDT and a Sister Abigail that ignited the crowd and nearly ended the match. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria mounted a comeback until a Twisted Bliss set up a Double Natural Selection that kept the title with close friends and teammates Charlotte Flair and Bliss.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
This week’s Raw served as a good go-home show ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event, balancing storytelling with solid in-ring work. The episode opened with CM Punk and Jey Uso exchanging sharp words, creating tension but stopping short of a truly explosive moment. The women’s division took centre stage, with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss facing Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in a standout tag title match that showcased crisp action and genuine emotion. Rusev’s bout with Penta delivered a physical encounter, though the outcome was largely predictable and the interference pretty much ruined it. Nikki Bella’s clash with Roxanne Perez also provided a boost to the undercard and hinted at ongoing rivalries. While the show didn’t offer any shocking twists, it successfully set the stage for what’s next and gave each major storyline forward movement. Which is exactly what a go-home show should do.
