Although Asuka got some payback on a disruptive Dominik Mysterio by knocking “Dirty” Dom off the apron, the commotion allowed Roxanne Perez to roll The Empress of Tomorrow up for the three count that give herself and Raquel Rodriguez the win over The Kubuki Warriors.

My Score: 3 out of 5

Match #2: 2-out-of-3 Falls Women’s Intercontinental Title No. 1 Contender’s Match – Lyra Valkyria def. Bayley

Bayley won the critical first fall in the 2-out-of-3 Falls No. 1 Contender’s Match when Lyra Valkyria let her emotions get the best of her and opened the door for The Role Model to deliver a slap and a quick pin once Lyra took here eye of the ball. As the match rolled on, Valkyria roared back with a beautiful counter that ultimately gave her the second fall. Then, when Bayley attempted to push off the ropes for better positioning during her submission attempt, Lyra used the momentum to escape and hit the Night Wing for the victory. The huge win earned her the right to challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.

My Score: 4 out of 5

Final Verdict: 4/5

After the underwhelming episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event, expectations for this week’s WWE Raw were understandably low – but wow, did Raw deliver a stunning rebound. From the opening segment to the final bell, this episode felt like a wake-up call. The pacing was tight, the in-ring action was consistently strong, and the storytelling actually moved several key feuds forward in a meaningful way. A couple of midcard matches even outshone recent main events, and the crowd was electric all night. It genuinely felt like Raw was out to prove something, and it did. An unexpectedly excellent show!
