This week’s episode of AEW Collision once again delivered a compelling mix of intense matches and significant storyline developments. The evening kicked off with “Switchblade” Jay White facing Kevin Knight. Despite a valiant effort from Knight, White secured the victory with his signature Blade Runner. Post-match, White praised Knight’s performance and announced his intention to participate in the upcoming Owen Hart Cup tournament. In women’s action, Mercedes Moné took on Robyn Renegade. Moné dominated the match, culminating in a submission victory via the Statement Maker. Following her win, Moné declared her entry into the women’s bracket of the 2024 Owen Hart Cup, aiming for a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In. The tag team division saw Big Bill and Bryan Keith square off against Top Flight. Despite Top Flight’s dynamic offense, Big Bill’s imposing chokeslam on Dante Martin secured the win for his team. After the match, an attempted ambush by Lio Rush and Action Andretti was thwarted by the timely intervention of AR Fox. Wheeler Yuta secured a hard-fought victory over Dax Harwood, leading to post-match tensions within FTR as Dax confronted both the referee and his partner, Cash Wheeler. Whilst in the main event the women’s division took centre stage as Jamie Hayter faced Billie Starkz, emerging victorious after delivering her finishing move, the Hayterade.
