Final Verdict: 3.75/5
A huge improvement over last week’s show, with a good mix of great matches and promos – unlike last week which was promo-heavy. I don’t get, even if you’re trying to build him as a monster ahead of his future match, why the hell you’d have Hangman open the show in a squash match? It felt like a waste of Hangman’s time AND the audience’s. Thankfully the rest of the card more than made up for that opening stumbling block… with Ospreay delivering as always, as did the ever-reliable Outrunners. The trios match was a fantastic example of AEW at its best, as was the great main event. And best of all, Harley Cameron picked up the win in her match against Deonna Purazzo. What’s not to love?!
