‘WWE Raw’ Review (Feb 17th 2025)
Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly! Let’s see what went down on this week’s Netflix-broadcast show!

Match #1: AJ Styles def. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After neutralizing Carlito and knocking the apple right out of his mouth, AJ Styles overcame “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio with the Styles Clash. After the match, Styles narrowly avoided a Spear attempt by Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, who instead Speared Mysterio before Styles kicked his would-be attacker out of the ring.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #2: Dakota Kai def. Ivy Nile
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In an explosive matchup, Dakota Kai took down Ivy Nile with the GTK to earn the right to challenge Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria. After the match, the titleholder stepped in the ring to stand toe-to-toe with her new No. 1 Contender.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: Penta def. Pete Dunne
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
When Ludwig Kaiser interfered in Penta’s match against Pete Dunne, The BruiserWeight began to argue with Ludwig and drew the Imperium competitor onto the apron. As they argued, the distraction allowed Penta to take advantage by throwing Dunne into Kaiser and hitting his opponent with the Penta Driver for the victory. After the bell, Kaiser attacked Penta and soon found himself in a post-match conflict with Dunne before Penta leaped over the top rope to take out both Superstars at ringside.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #4: Roxanne Perez def. Raquel Rodriguez
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After seeing a video on Friday of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the area of the attack on Jade Cargill on SmackDown, Bianca Belair and Naomi journeyed to Raw. During the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions suddenly emerged to attack Morgan at ringside. This allow Roxanne Perez to pick up a quick pin on the distracted Raquel. As a result, Perez became the final woman to qualify for the Elimination Chamber, with the winner going on to challenge Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #5: Seth “Freakin” Rollins def. Finn Bálor
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Seth “Freakin” Rollins spun out of Finn Bálor’s submission attempt and hit the Stomp for the victory to become the final Superstar to qualify for the Elimination Chamber Match, wherein the winner will challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 2.5/5
Well, what do you know, we got more than four matches on this week’s show. It’s just a shame that three of the five matches on the card were merely mediocre at best! Of the other two matches, Penta and Dunne put on a great show, with an interesting mix of styles – Dunne’s hard-hitting action meeting Penta’s Lucha style made for an intriguing end result. Then we have the main event, as Balor and Rollins battle for an Elimination Chamber spot which was as good as could be expected for a televised match between the two – of course if this was a pay-per-view they’d have probably taken it to another level but what we got her didn’t disappoint.
