‘WWE Raw’ Review (Dec 16th 2024)
Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: Intercontinental Championship – Bron Breakker def. Ludwig Kaiser
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Despite competing with an injured arm, Bron Breakker successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser with an earth-shattering Spear.
My Score: 4 out of 5
Match #2: Triple Threat Match – Zoey Stark def. Kayden Carter and Raquel Rodriguez
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
When Raquel Rodriguez was about to hit the Tejana Bomb on Kayden Carter, Zoey Stark blasted her with a missile dropkick off the top rope. Stark then hit Carter with the Z-360 to pick up the victory and advance to the next round of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #3: World Tag Team Championship – The War Raiders def. Judgment Day
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With The Judgment Day barred from ringside, Damian Priest surprised Finn Bálor, prevented him from grabbing a chair and caused a distraction that paved the way for The War Raiders to regain control and hit The Prince with War Machine to claim the World Tag Team Championship.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
What a dichotomy this week’s Raw was. On the one hand, we got a great show, with two great matches and one good one and some decent storytelling segments too. But, on the other hand, we got JUST two great matches and one good one… Three matches on one two-hour show! That’s a comedown from the 4-match schedule Raw has been keeping under the new shorter format but at the same time, it’s somewhat forgivable given that overall this show was a lot of fun!
