Final Verdict: 4/5

OK, so last year’s review of ALL IN was super-biased, I was there for it live, almost… almost ringside (in fact my wife and I can be seen numerous times during the show); but this year I watched it from home – avoiding spoilers on social media by avoiding social media altogether! And whilst it was a great show overall, this PPV wasn’t, at least for me, as exciting as last year. To the show’s credit we got to AMAZING matches in the American and World title matches. But some of the other matches? Woof. The women’s TBS match looked clumsy and badly put together – the total antithesis of the ACTUAL women’s title match; then there’s the decision to have Christian Cage win the gauntlet match, which was – frankly – terrible… But the lows could not detract from the highs and those highs were VERY high! Hell, seeing Ricochet come out for the gauntlet match and do HIS stuff, be the fast-paced high-flyer that he IS, even in such a short amount of time… superb stuff! I get that the huge drop in ticket sales means that we’re not getting All In in London next year but hell, I don’t think you can beat the British crowd’s reaction. Honestly.
