‘WWE Raw’ Review (Jun 10th 2024)
Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!

Match #1: IYO SKY def. Lyra Valkyria
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With Lyra Valkyria holding multiple victories over Damage CTRL members in recent weeks, IYO SKY was out to make a point. After pulling her opponent’s hair to help her pick up the quick pinfall, The Genius of the Sky attacked the defeated Superstar after the bell until Katana Chance and Kayden Carter emerged to make the save.
My Score: 4 out of 5
Match #2: Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee & Braun Strowman def. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Carlito
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
When Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan emerged on the apron to converse with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Zelina Vega knocked the disruptive titleholder from the apron and right onto “Dirty” Dom for a shocking Raw moment. This chaos led to Dragon Lee leaping off of Braun Strowman’s shoulders and onto Carlito for the Six-Man Tag Team victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: Sami Zayn def. Otis
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Although Otis was having a very strong match against Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Chad Gable inserted himself into the mix to berate “his No. 1 Guy” for not listening to him. This opened the door for Zayn to hit the Helluva Kick out of nowhere to clinch the win. After the bell, a frustrated Otis gave in to Gable and attacked Sami but nearly turned his anger toward Gable before storming away from the squared circle.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #4: Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark def. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before each team challenges WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WWE Clash at the Castle, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn and Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark battled each other in search of a monumental win. After a heated back and forth, Baszler locked in the Kirifuda Clutch on Fyre for the win.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #5: Bron Breakker def. Ilja Dragunov
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The brutal Bron Breakker overcame Ilja Dragunov in a hard-hitting battle with the signature bruising style that has defined his short Raw tenure. Breakker nearly put away the match with one brutal Spear, but after Dragunov rolled out of the ring, one final Spear awaited The Mad Dragon. When Breakker continued his assault after the bell, Ricochet emerged to intercept Bron Breakker’s attack and save Dragunov.
My Score: 4 out of 5
Match #6: World Tag Team Title Match – Awesome Truth def. Authors of Pain
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The New Day fired back at The New Testament by helping The Miz and R-Truth retain the World Tag Team Championship against Akam and Rezar.
My Score: 1 out of 5
Match #7: Drew McIntyre def. Finn Bálor
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Drew McIntyre leveled the playing field for his World Heavyweight Championship Match against Damian Priest, as he overcame The Prince with an earth-shattering Claymore and earned the right to have The Judgment Day barred from ringside at WWE Clash at the Castle.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3.5/5
A solid improvement over last week’s Raw, this episode delivered two great matches and two fantastic matches! The fact that we got two weaker matches and what was, really, a quasi-squash tag title match didn’t detract from the fact the show opened with a superb women’s match between Iyo Sky and Lyra Valkyrie; then we got a (surprisingly) superb performance from Bron Breakker against Ilja Dragunov – a man who’s killing it in each and EVERY match he has on the main roster. To a literal unmissable extent. The main event, whilst not up to par with the two aforementioned matches, delivered too AND set up the match between McIntyre and Priest brilliantly. A great week for Raw!
