Nerdly’s own Alain Elliott releases horror novel ‘Home Sweet Home’

by Phil Wheat

I always love seeing the Nerdly crew make their own successes in the world of pop culture… We’ve had writers go on to pen children’s books (including a massive Minecraft series), publish their own comic books and now we’ve got first-time author and long-time Nerdly contributor, Alain Elliott, publishing his book, a horror novel called Home Sweet Home.

Home Sweet Home is a horror anthology featuring five terrifying tales based around different rooms in the home. Released tomorrow, May 2nd, for Kindle and on paperback through Amazon; Home Sweet Home: A Horror Anthology is available to pre-order on kindle now!

These five spine-chilling stories will show that there really is no place like home…

A bedroom is the location for a heart to heart between grandmother and granddaughter until one of them needs their demons exorcised. Christmas is that happy, joyous time of year for family gatherings but in this dining room the Christmas dinner turns nasty as one family member seems unable to control their violent tendencies.

What happens when your kitchen appliances come to life and try to murder you? This family will soon find out when the blender left in their new home sets out to kill them all. A newly married couple has found the perfect home. Size, location, and price all seem too good to be true. There is a catch of course and that catch is what’s living in the attic.

After a night out, two friends discover their local neighbourhood has been taken over by zombies. They end up stuck in their bathroom with seemingly no escape from the undead waiting on the other side of the door.

Home Sweet Home: A Horror Anthology eBook will be available from Amazon in the U.K. right here and in the US from here.
