First look at new Jamie Bernadette horror ‘Hennesy House Murders’

by Phil Wheat

If there’s one thing we love, it’s a good horror flick with a scream queen who delivers—and Jamie Bernadette never disappoints. The indie horror favourite, known for her fearless performances in I Spit on Your Grave: Déjà Vu and 4/20 Massacre, is back in the genre she dominates, leading the cast of the upcoming supernatural thriller, Hennesy House Murders.

The film, which just wrapped principal photography, brings ghost-hunting terror to life in one of Virginia’s most eerie locations—the historic Dunnington Mansion in Farmville. A decaying estate with a history as unsettling as the film’s premise, the mansion plays host to a chilling story where a reality TV crew investigating paranormal activity finds themselves facing something far more sinister than expected.

At the heart of the horror? Jamie Bernadette, once again proves why she’s a staple in the genre. Known for her ability to bring depth and grit to even the bloodiest of roles, Bernadette leads the film’s cast through two intense weeks of filming, much of it shot overnight to heighten the eerie atmosphere.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better setting,” said Director Raymond Wallace. “Dunnington Mansion gave us everything we needed—a great location, with unique architectural features, and that sense of real, lived-in mystery. The footage we captured there is some of the best we’ve ever produced.”

Bernadette’s history with horror makes her the perfect anchor for the film, and fans will no doubt be thrilled to see her taking on another spine-chilling role. Whether she’s battling masked killers or vengeful spirits, she always commands the screen—and Hennesy House Murders looks to be no exception.

While principal photography is done, a few more scenes are set to be filmed on North Carolina’s Outer Banks before post-production kicks in. Hennesy House Murders is expected to premiere later this year, and if Bernadette’s track record is anything to go by, horror lovers won’t want to miss it.

Stay tuned for more updates – we’ll be watching! In the meantime, check out this handful of behind-the-scenes images from the set:
