News of the Night:
- Jade Cargill returned to AEW after Kris Statlander’s match
- Bryan Danielson announced plans for his retirement
Final Verdict: 4/5
This was a fantastic episode of Collision, with some great matches (both Grand Slam tournament matches), the appearance of roster members whom we haven’t seen in a while (Angelico and a returning Jade Cargill) and an impassioned promo from Bryan Danielson that got me more excited for what we’re going to get in the next year rather than sad we’ve only got a year left! Plus there was an intriguing tease of Ricky Starks possibly aligning himself with the BCC – whether that happens or not, seeing Starks and Big Bill take on the BCC will be great to watch in the coming weeks.
