Little Monsters #6

Human survivor Laura is brought back to the city by Romie, Lucas and Yui but this might not be the safest place for her. Raymond is interrogated by his human captor providing an interesting plot thread of a future menace However the real threat to the children is from within, as some members of the group have now tasted human blood and want more. Lemire’s scripting is fantastic and he manages to give all the children panel-time and Nguyen’s art continues to astound. You really should be reading this comic!

Daredevil #1
Written by Chip Zdarsky | Art by Marco Checchetto
Having stuck with Zdarky’s previous run on Daredevil until about the time Elektra assumed the mantle, a new first issue seemed an appropriate jumping back on point. How wrong I was. If Marvel wanted to get new readers on to the book the sheer weight of story of the last 30 odd issues is going to put a lot of people off.
Zdarsky’s clearly in the throes of crafting the epic battle between Daredevil and The Hand and maybe eventually this new #1 will feel like the beginning of a new chapter, but on first reading it was pretty confusing.
