Match #1: Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker (No Contest)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker threw down in an incredible matchup, but unfortunately for them, they were left without a winner. After scintillating offense and several remarkable counters, Grace and Parker found themselves on the outside where they ran afoul of NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer who was on commentary. The champion attempted to hit Parker but knocked Grace instead, forcing a No Contest.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Fraxiom def. Swipe Right
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nathan Frazer and Axiom showed out once again as they took down Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes in a Non-Title Match. Swipe Right showed incredible promise, but the speed and skills of the champions was too much to overcome as Fraxiom earned the win.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: Sol Ruca def. Jazmyn Nyx
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Fatal Influence’s Jazmyn Nyx gave the best performance of her young career, but one Sol Snatcher allowed Sol Ruca to punch her ticket to Stand & Deliver.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: The Culling def. Hank & Tank
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger continue to spiral after yet another loss, this time to The Culling. Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance proved to be a formidable team as they took advantage of a key mistake to pick up the win.
My Score: 2 out of 5
Match #5: Wes Lee def. Yoshiki Inamura
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Wes Lee picked up some huge momentum on the Road to Stand & Deliver as he took down a very aggressive Yoshiki Inamura.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #6: Izzi Dame def. Wren Sinclair
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Izzi Dame is officially headed to Stand & Deliver as she defeated Wren Sinclair in a NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match Qualifying Match. Sinclair used her technical prowess to gain an upperhand, but the power and strength of Dame carried her to the win.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #7: DarkState (Saquon Shugars, Cutler James and Dion Lennox) def. Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
DarkState made good on their promise and used their cohesion to defeat NXT Champion Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans. Evans struggled mightily against the trio of dangerous Superstars and when he finally managed to tag out, Femi shoved Williams out of the match to enter it himself. Those two quickly got into fight, leaving The Young OG all alone to feel the wrath of DarkState.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
The April 8, 2025 episode of WWE NXT was a high-energy show that delivered strong in-ring action and meaningful storyline development. The main event featured a unique twist as NXT Champion Oba Femi teamed up with his two upcoming challengers, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans, in a six-man tag match against the mysterious faction known as DarkState. The uneasy alliance between the three top stars added intrigue to their pending triple threat title clash, highlighting tensions and layered dynamics. In the women’s division, Jordynne Grace took on Jaida Parker in a heated bout that ended via disqualification after outside interference. Chaos erupted post-match when Stephanie Vaquer got involved, only to be blindsided by the shocking return of Giulia, who made a clear statement by attacking Vaquer and seemingly turning heel. This development injected fresh momentum into the women’s title picture. Elsewhere, the tag team division stayed hot with Fraxiom defeating Swipe Right in a fast-paced contest. Sol Ruca and Izzi Dame also earned spots in the Women’s North American Championship ladder match by picking up key victories over Jazmyn Nyx and Wren Sinclair. North American Champion Ricky Saints issued a bold challenge to Ethan Page, but things quickly escalated when Lexis King, Eddy Thorpe, and Wes Lee entered the mix, hinting at a crowded and competitive future for the title scene. Altogether, the episode succeeded in ramping up excitement ahead of Stand & Deliver, with well-paced matches, surprise returns, and compelling story progression across the board.
