‘WWE Raw’ Review (Nov 25th 2024)
Welcome to this review of this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, right here on Nerdly. Let’s see what went down on this week’s show!
Match #1: The Creed Brothers def. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
As The Creeds obstructed the official in the corner during a Tornado Tag Team Match, Chad Gable suddenly leaped up onto the apron and twisted Rey Mysterio’s mask sideways. With the WWE Hall of Famer blinded, The Creeds seized the opportunity and picked up the quick pinfall.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #2: Ludwig Kaiser def. Bron Breakker (DQ)
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
At the height of the action, Sheamus suddenly charged down the ramp and attacked Ludwig Kaiser at ringside to bring a premature end to the Imperium Superstar’s match against Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. After the bell, an angry Bron joined the chaos and the three adversaries engaged in an all-out brawl that led Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to create an Intercontinental Title Triple Threat Match between them for Survivor Series.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Match #3: Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh def. The War Raiders
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
As both the official and Erik worked to neutralize in interfering Dominik Mysterio and Carlito at ringside, Finn Bálor took out Ivar on the opposite side of the ring to set up JD McDonagh to hit the quick pinfall to secure The Judgment Day’s successful World Tag Team Title defence.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5
Match #4: Alpha Academy def. The New Day
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Continued discord between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods allowed Akira Tozawa to hit a Sky High Senton that gave him and Otis a surprise victory over the legendary tag team. After the match, The New Day argued all the way to the backstage area.
My Score: 0 out of 5
Match #5: Bianca Belair def. Nia Jax
The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the final moments of Bianca Belair’s high stakes main event showdown against Nia Jax, The Irresistible Force delivered the Samoan Drop to her opponent onto the announce table before driving her into the steel ring steps. As the official began to count The EST of WWE out, Bayley emerged to hurl the gloating WWE Women’s Champion off the ropes and face-first into the exposed turnbuckle. This set up Belair to overcome Jax and win the the WarGames Advantage at Survivor Series.
My Score: 3 out of 5
Final Verdict: 3/5
It was a pretty decent show this week, and it felt like it used the shorter two-hour format better than other recent shows. We got a steady flow of good matches this week too, with only the mid-card of the show letting the side down. And shocker of the week? Nia Jax had a good main event match!
