by Nathan Favel

Welcome to this return of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this simplified version of the column shall encompass all of the major reviews on the site and serve as the exclusive debut of many of the leagues’ different reviews, including the Major League Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, National Wrestling Alliance, NXT UK and 205 Live, along with my versions of the two AEW: Dark reviews and the debut of New Japan Strong. These promotions will have their matches scored and the best match of the week will be named before we wrap-up with a verdict on the week in wrestling overall. Okay. Let’s kick some ass. Ultimate Verdict: 7/10

This was a pretty good week to re-start the column. You get a lot of matches that are real winners and a lot less of those awful promos. Okay. So Roman Reigns is still declining as a heel. Roman will get back to what made the heel turn work in the beginning…eventually. AEW Dark has a thousand matches a week and it will drive us all insane. Twern’t nuthin’. Ring Of Honor had an off week, but it wasn’t the end of the world. 205 Live had some new faces freshen-up the joint. Raw was actually really good. Holy s—t! Ain’t that nice to say? New Japan had its debut in this column and did so with an un-characteristic No DQ main event. All in all, Tim Ngoy made it possible for Cambodian’s to take over the American doughnut market and this was an excellent week for wrestling. Melvin McMelvin: Cease this! I represent the Internetal Protectorate! Camabodia cannot be mentioned twice in any piece of writing. Me: You were already removed from this review for being worthless. Get out! MCM: Nooooo!!!!!! Who will stop women from reading? Me: No one? MCM: Noooooooo!!!!!!! Me: Okay. That’s the column. I’m glad to have you here and, for those who’ve been here before, happy to have you back. I’ll see you next time.
