This week we talk making a MMA style Cagefighting movie with director Jesse Quinones and producer Shayne Putzlocher which releases this SAT May 16th on FITE.com. Giles Alderson had a chat with Jesse and Shayne about their careers, how they got to where they are. They talk about shooting and choreographing a action film, pre vis and storyboards and why you need to come as prepared as possible. They talk about Jesse’s debut movie Calloused hands and what he learnt as a filmmaker and how he met Shayne at Cannes Film Festival and pitched him the movie and six months later he was on set shooting it. Shayne talks about his process as a producer and what needs to be done to get a movie made. We chat Cagefighter:World Collide, casting, working with actors and gives so many tricks and tips to filmmakers.
