‘NWA: Powerrr’ Review (Feb 25th 2020)
Welcome to this week’s NWA: Powerrr review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is a terrible show. You’ll see why in a second.
Match #1: Zicky Dice defeated Ricky Starks and Matt Cross – Triple Threat Match
My Opinion: 2.8 out of 5 – This went about three minutes and was starting to get good, but it got cut off at about three minutes. I’m not s——- you. This only went three minutes. Why even bother watching? What is this, 1985? Who would ever pay for a ticket to a show with a three minute match? The wrestling that did make it in to this flea-sized slit of a match was good, but you’d barely be able see any of it. This was good, but depressing.
Match #2: Trevor Murdoch defeated The Question Mark
My Opinion: 0 out of 5 – TQM, who was a popular new star for this league, just lost after thirty something seconds to the guy that ate Lance Cade’s body right out of the coffin at the funeral (couldn’t afford a burial vault). Trevor is a good man who got a raw deal working at McMahonland, and I do feel for him, but him beating a new, young star/old star with botox/salmon salad sandwich in just under a minute is out of the question. If this happened in the WWE, we’d all be pissed and we should be pissed that it happened here too.
Match #3: (Main Event) Thunder Rosa defeated Melina – NWA Women’s Title Match (Count-Out)
My Opinion: 0.9 out of 5 – This was…what…a minute? Hell, this barely started and Melina just walks out. What kind of bull-s— is this?
News Of The Night:
- Eddie Kingston wants to kick Elijah Burke’s ass.
- Brody King came to help push the feu between Marty Scurll and Nick Aldis.
- Tim Storm and Jax Dane are being teased for…something.
Final Verdict: 0.6/5
There was five minutes of wrestling on a one-hour show…that’s bull-s—.
