The Best TV Series in 2019

TV series are becoming more and more popular. It is safe to say that they are becoming the new trend of the cinematic industry. The next few years will bring us a lot of amazing series like Loki, WandaVision, and most importantly, we’ll finally see Ewan McGregor reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi. There is no doubt that we’ll witness a revolution in terms of quality and innovation.


2019 has been a great year for the fans behind the TV screens We had new seasons from some of the best shows, as well as new series that are breaking records. Most of them are being streamed on Netflix and Disney+, and they have managed to influence people so much. As far as the fans are concerned, they will watch a good show, even if they need to loan money for various sources like an online lending company. With that thought in mind, let’s check out some of the best series that were aired this year.

Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders was originally aired on TV in 2013. Five seasons later, this TV series is conquering the world with its quality. This is a crime drama created by Steven Knight and it is set in Birmingham after World War I. The gang is based on the 19th-century young gangsters who were active until the beginning of the 1900s. Cillian Murphy is playing the cunning boss Tommy Shelby who works on expanding his criminal organization in the South and North.

The Crown

This is another British series. The Crown is a historical drama that follows the story of Queen Elizabeth II and her reign. The plot takes place after she gets married in 1947 to present and touches various subjects in UK’s most recent history. As of 2019, there are 3 seasons with 30 episodes. Claire Floy was cast as the Queen in the first two seasons but was replaced by Olivia Colman in the third season.


Chernobyl is one of the series that left a huge mark this year. There was no marketing and no promotion for this mini-series documentary. As the name itself says, the plot takes place in the notorious city called Pripyat seconds after the Chernobyl nuclear power plant explodes. The storyline goes into detail about how the Soviet Union failed to contain the situation, which led to a catastrophe of unimaginable scale. This series was highly criticized by Russia, who claimed that more than half of the events are not true, which is why they started working on their version.


Produced by the famous rapper 50 Cent, Power takes place in New York and follows the life of two merciless drug dealers who will do anything to climb to the top of the food chain. The 6th season was released this summer and is full of plots and twists. Two lifetime friends are now mortal enemies and looking for a way to kill each other.

The Mandalorian

Finally, we have the show that took Peaky Blinders of the throne. Even though we only have a couple of episodes, there is no doubt that The Mandalorian is a great series. This is a Star Wars story that describes the life of some of the toughest warriors in the galaxy.
