Teaser poster for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’

Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure, Wonder Woman 1984, finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. And today Warner Bros. have released the first “teaser” poster for the film which – honestly – has a very familiar look to it. Does it remind anyone else of another 80s themed superhero movie put out by a DC rival? Or is it just me?

Wonder Woman 1984 will be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role. The film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal; and Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor(!). The film is set for a June 2020 release from Warner Bros. Pictures
