This weeks on the Filmmakers Podcast the boys Giles Alderson and Christian James sit down with screenwriter, actress and director Daisy Aitkens who chats in depth about writing scripts, her process behind it and making the leap from shorts to big budget feature film You, Me and Him produced by Georgia Moffat and starring David Tennant, Faye Marsay and Lucy Punch.

Daisy is a screenwriter, actress and director Working as an actress since 2005 she has appeared in Life As We Know It, Wire in the Blood, The Bill, Casualty, and Eastenders She also appeared regularly in BBC comedies Fear, Stress and Anger and Watson and Oliver. And the films Colin, Magpie and the brilliant action comedy Night Shooters. She has written for TV and made her short film 96 Ways To Say I Love You that was produced by Georgia Moffat, starring David Tennant and Nina Sosanya. And then made her written and directed feature debut with You, Me and Him.
