by Phil Wheat

Horror-Rama Toronto, the ONLY stand-alone horror convention and cult cinema celebration, returns for its 4th year in a larger and wilder space with a gaggle of amazing celebrity guests and cinema icons – including the already announced Frank Henenlotter (Basket Case, Brain Damage); Mink Stole (Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, Serial Mom); Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Commando, Weird Science); Lisa Langlois (Class of 1984, Deadly Eyes); Composer Carl Zittrer (Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things, Black Christmas, Deathdream, Blood Orgy of the She Devils); Illustrator Mike Diana; Artist and Something Weird Video braintrust Lisa Pettrucci; and Night of the Living Dead co-writer and producer John Russo

Horror-Rama organisers have also just announced that the guest line-up will be boosted by two, with the appearance of Scream Queen Lesleh Donaldson (Happy Birthday to Me, Deadly Eyes, Funeral Home) and writer, director and actor John Harrison (Creepshow, Day of the Dead, Tales from the Darkside, Dune).

Horror-Rama IV – once again hosted by founders film culture enthusiast Luis Ceriz (Suspect Video), magazine publisher and filmmaker Chris Alexander (Fangoria, Fantasm, Queen of Blood) and actress and event planner Cheryl Singleton (Fangoria, Fantasm) – runs November 4th and 5th at the remarkable 918 Bathurst, an arts and culture sanctuary and converted Buddhist temple located just North of Bloor St., downtown, featuring a grand hall with a massive stage and a basement labyrinth chock-full of awesome vendors, film screenings and educational celebrity panels and Q&As. One day Nerdly will pay a visit to Horror-Rama Toronto, one day…
