‘Star Trek: Discovery’ gets new images & more episodes!
It’s only a few days since we brought you new images from Star Trek: Discovery, the newest edition in the Star Trek franchise, and now comes three more – along with the announcement that the episode order for the first season has been increased from 13 episodes to 15!
Star Trek: Discovery – which stars Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham, Jason Isaacs as Captain Gabriel Lorca, Doug Jones as Lt. Saru, Shazad Latif as Lt. Ash Tyler, Mary Wiseman as Cadet Sylvia Tilly, Anthony Rapp as Lt. Paul Stamets and James Frain as Ambassador Sarek – will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
The series will air on CBS All Access in the U.S. and be distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and OTT service CraveTV. Star Trek: Discovery is set to premiere on Netflix (outside the US) on Monday September 25th 2017.
