Nerd Buy: ‘Ghost in the Shell’ Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures

The live action, english language, movie version of Ghost In the Shell is due to open in cinema’s around the world from late March. Starring Scarlett Johansson in the lead role of ‘Major’, a field commander in the Cyborg counter-cyberterrorist unit it finally brings to the big screens one of the series that started the growth of Manga and Anime in western culture.

Ghost In the Shell also stars “Beat” Takeshi Kitano as Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The members of Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo.

Of course no new sci-fi movie is complete without merchandise, and Ghost in the Shell is no different, as Fumko have unveiled three new Pops! featuring the main characters from the movie: Major, Batou and the Geisha… Check all three out below:
