2017 looks set to be another year PACKED with huge blockbusting Summer movies, so expect loads (and loads) of trailers in the coming months. I’m guessing that by the time most of the Summer’s biggest movies are released we will have seen enough footage to know exactly what happens in each film…. It happens every year! However we’ve already had a “preview” of what to expect from one of this Summer hottest movies: Spider-Man: Homecoming
The first collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony, Spider-Man: Homecoming takes the iconic webslinger back to his roots. Unlike the rest of the Summer movie crop, we’ve already had a sneak preview of Tom Holland’s take on the classic character in Captain America: Civil War, an appearance that seemed to hit the right note between fun and heroic – much moreso than the previous Spidey movies – however now, thanks to not one but TWO trailers for the film (the international trailer features more action scenes), we get to see more of Spider-Man: Homecoming and in particular the involvement of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Michael Keaton’s villain, The Vulture.
Check the Spider-Man: Homecoming trailers out below:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr., Spider-Man: Homecoming hits cinemas on July 7th 2017.
