by Phil Wheat

Welcome horror fans to the UK debut of the February edition of Horror Bites, the Horror Channel’s monthly guide to some of the highlights coming your way next month… Yes, you did read that right folks, our good friends at the Horror Channel have let us have the exclusive UK debut of their monthly show Horror Bites.

Hosted by Emily Booth, you’ll see Horror Bites right here on Nerdly before anywhere else!

This month sees the Horror channel go literary with their From Page to Scream season, featuring adaptations of the works of Stephen King, Jack Ketchum and Clive Barker. Then they go retro with the channel premiere of the awesome anthology series Monsters and classic 80s teen-horror The Gate. Also making their channel premiere this month are two great “international” horrors – Ginger Snaps, the Canadian werewolf movie starring American Mary’s Katherine Isabelle and Repo: The Genetic Opera, which features an international cast, including Anthony Head, Sarah Brightman and Paris Hilton!

Finally this months Directors Night features SFX artist-turned-director Paul Hyett (whose gruelling film The Seasoning House is due for release very soon), who chooses three unmissable fear-flicks: The Company of Wolves, and the equally as gruelling Frontiers and Martyrs.
